Jose Martin Cortes Pronounced (hoh-seh mar-tin kor-tes) is currently an eighth grade student at St. Procopius School. The following fall, he will be attending St. Ignatius College Prepatory.

Background

Jose enjoys a variety of activities including playing guitar, playing with pandas and reading. Occasionally, you may see him with a Goulet pen.

The LAMY 2000, medium nib, is a personal favorite.

Travel

Jose recently visited the state capitol of Springfield, Illinois. He also took time to walk around New Salem State Park and even the Lincoln Neighborhood.

In the future, he wishes to travel to the United Kingdom and China (to become a panda nanny).

Future Aspirations

Many paths have been spoken of. Jose has dreamed of being a professional musician in many capacities, including rock star, composer and even conductor.

Just one example of pandas that Jose enjoys playing and (one day) caring for.

Musical aspirations aside, he has also taken an interest in the culinary arts. He is inspired by Chef Gordon Ramsey and often imitates these dishes at home.
