Lieutenant Colonel Mac C Hemphill, USAF, (28 October 1922 – 21 November 1997) was an United States Air Force Pilot. Hemphill flew 25 missions in 1944 earning the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters during World War II.
