The 100 Street Funicular is a funicular railway in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is located at 100 Street beside the Hotel Macdonald in Downtown Edmonton and provides accessible access to the river valley. The project, previously known as Mechanized River Valley Access, started construction in March 2016 and was completed in December 2017. It officially opened to the public on December 9, 2017.[1]
