Christine Eun Jin Kim (born November 1, 1987) is a Canadian performance artist, writer, critic, rapper, and scholar. An influential figure in contemporary video game research and a leader in arts and culture production, Christine has been credited for popularizing the display of video games in contemporary art galleries, traditional museums and third spaces in Canada. She gained recognition by founding Vector Game Arts Festival (2013-present) where she/they raised over $35,000 in grant funding their first year with support from the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council and Canadian Arts Councils respectively. This grant funding was made possible likely due to their published first thesis titled The Art of (Dis)Playing Video Games: Theory Meets Praxis and subsequently pursued a career in Graphic Design for bypeterandpauls.com where she began as Design Director in August 2017.
