Early Life
[edit]Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi is an Apostle of the Church of Pentecost who was elected General Secretary during the 40th Session of the General Council Meeting of the church held at Pentecost Convention Centre – Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region of Ghana. On 24TH December, 1964 at Asamankese in the Eastern Region of Ghana Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi was born to Samuel Opare Kumi and Akosua Odi (Both deseased) all from Abiriw Akuapim. He is the eight among ten siblings. The family were peasant farmers who settled at Suhum after Samuel Kumi lost his job as Works Superintendent with Department of Social Welfare in 1968 when Alex was only four years old.
