Carolyn L. Paseneaux[1] (born 1938 or 1939) is an American politician. A member of the Republican Party, she served as the representative for the 38th district in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1993 to 2002.[2]
Life and career
[edit]Carolyn L. Paseneaux was born in the late 1930s.[3]
Before joining the legislature, Paseneaux was executive director of the Wyoming Wool Growers Association and the Wyoming Public Lands Council.[4]
In May 1992, Paseneaux announced that she was running for the 39th district of the Wyoming House of Representatives as a Republican, mainly campaigning on enacting a moratorium for all new legislation, believing that it would help reduce costs of the state government.[4][5] She stated that she was motivated to run for the House after the state redrew their legislative district boundaries.[4] add content about primary election.[placeholder] In the general election, she won by nearly 10 points over Democratic Party candidate Cathy Killean.[6]

After her stint as a representative, Paseneaux joined the Wyoming Liberty Group and the Wyoming Health Care Association, later becoming the latter's executive director.[7][8]
