SnowsurferSnowsurfer was designed and developed under its former name of Ski Rider. The heart of the Snowsurfer concept is to make it possible for a wide range of people to enjoy the snow slopes and take part in activities similar to skiing and snowboarding. There are a number of factors which give Snowsurfer its unique appeal.

Easy to use, easy to move – Riding and controlling a Snow Surfer is intuitive. This makes it much easier and quicker to learn than other skiing type activities. Complete beginners, with no skiing experience at all, have been enjoying nursery slopes with as little as 1 hours instruction.

Freedom – The riders feet are not bound to the main board. There are no straps or bindings and no special boots are needed. Riders can move about or stop and get off at any time.

Less injuries - A huge advantage of Snow Surfer is that there is less stress and strain on the rider’s legs, knees and ankles. Furthermore, if a rider does fall off, they are more likely to fall clear of the board; reducing the risk of breaking a bone or other serious injury.

== Snow Surfer Construction ==

Snowsurfer itself is made up of a front steering board, a rear footboard and a T-bar control handle. All 3 components are linked together via a unique pivot assembly. An integral shock absorber helps to make the ride more comfortable.

The steering board and footboard are manufactured in a similar way to skis and snow boards. The T-bar and pivot assembly are mostly made of aluminium.

The T-bar and pivot design are critical to Snowsurfer control and providing an enjoyable experience for the rider.

The pivot assembly also enables the Snowsurfer to be folded quickly and easily for carriage and storage.
