Klareco Textile was a fabrics firm located at 295 Madison Avenue (Manhattan). Its initial capitalization was one hundred shares of common stock. Incorporated on December 31, 1931,[1] its capitalization was increased from one hundred to one thousand five hundred shares, approximately three weeks later. Five hundred of these shares were preferred stock, selling for $100 apiece. One thousand shares were no par.[2] Klareco Textile was a part of the Silk Centre which opened in Manhattan (New York) in 1924.[3]
