Reigning from Darlington, SC, Robert Anthony is a Singer/Songwriter who is an original artist that sings from the soul over a sound that fuses Soul, R&B, and Gospel.

His music and vocal influences include the likes of Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross, Donny Hathaway, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, and Prince.

His passion for music was born as a youth during the early 80's while growing up listening to all types of music from R&B to Gospel. He was told that one of the early memories of him singing was him grabbing a broomstick, using it as a microphone, singing Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing."

R&B music in the early 90' became the soundtrack to Robert's years in High School. The love of the lyrics from the songs inspired Robert to want to sing as well as compose his own lyrics. This was also the decade that introduced Toni Braxton to the world and she quickly became Robert's favorite artist of all times. Vowing to one day meet and sing with Toni Braxton, Robert achieved that opportunity after moving to Atlanta, GA and performing on stage with her at two of her concerts, as the guest Toni pulled from the audience.

Robert Anthony's debut CD, "Aquarius" is a compilation of songs written and Executive Produced by him under his 2877 Music Group. Other Composers and Producers include Stanley Patrick who wrote Forbidden, and Thinking Bout You Lately. Christen Ahmed and Kenneth Paryo both of which are Producers on the project. Released on August 23, 2021, Aquarius brings back that 90's R&B feel and gives you a glimpse into the life of Robert Anthony. The CD ends with a remake of the Rev. F.C. Barnes song, "I'm Still Holding On." Robert states this song gives an in-depth summary of the struggles and victories he's faced. In the song, Robert delivers a powerful vocal that will surely touch your soul
