Thongsha Gompa Thongsha Gompa was re-built in 1692 during the Bhutanese reign Kalimpong. Under the Bhutan Kings supervision this Gompa was built and is located at the same site at which the original Gompa once stood before. The ravages of the Sikkim Gorkhas are the cause of original Gompa destruction.
