At DYK, a hook with one interesting fact is better than a hook with two boring facts.
The shorter a hook is, the more chance I'll read it and click it.
A hook should pick one interesting thing about the topic and bring that out. Any unnecessary details or frills only distract from the main point and make the hook less interesting.
