Лио́н Изма́йлов (настоящее имя Лио́н Моисе́евич По́ляк; род. 5 мая 1940, Москва) — советский и российский писатель-сатирик, сценарист и артист эстрады. Lion Izmailov (Russian: Лио́н Изма́йлов) (real name is Lion Moiseevich Polyak; born May 5, 1940, Moscow) - Soviet and Russian satirist, screenwriter and a stand-up comedian.

Biography Was born in Moscow to Moisey and Polya Polyak. Moisey Polyak went missing in action in 1943 during the World Word II, under Stalingrad. After the death of his father, Lion was raised mostly by his mother.

In 1960 Lion graduated from Moscow Aviation Engineering College. Later, 1967 he graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute where he majored in aviation engineering construction.
