Chipmark

[edit]

Chipmark is an open source software project, licensed under the GPL, that allows a user to have a set of browser bookmarks that they share among many computers that they work on. Chipmark.com runs the latest Chipmark software and is hosted by the University of Minnesota.

Chipmark allows you to manage your bookmarks through an advanced web interface, by Firefox extension, or Internet Explorer Toolbar.[1]

Chipmark was created by a class of 12-13 undergraduate students, over the course of one year, at the University of Minnesota: College of Science and Engineering. The project is almost completely organized by the student developers, with guidance by Professor John T. Riedl.[2]
