My name is Rico, I'm from the Netherlands and I am a user of Wikipedia since 2008. Since 2014 I want to help to contribute to articles on Wikipedia, either by creating new articles or edit existing ones. These articles can be about a lot of subjests. I am a curious person and therefore my interest in knowledge is very wide. Also I know quite an amount of languages, so I will correct spelling or writing mistakes in the languages I master. I would also like to translate articles which exist in one language, but not in another. Besides editing and traslating articles, I would like to read a lot of articles in the languages I do not yet master. In this way I hope to improve my language skills. Fot me it's a challenge to learn as much languages as possible, so in the future I can present myself as a polyglot. Mijn preference at this moment goes to Germanic and Romance languages, Greek and Russian.
Besides my common interest in different articles, I have a bigger interest in Cuba related articles. Since my partner is Cuban I know a lot of the country and follow the everyday news. Also I have been to the country several times. I like to be involved in the latest news from Cuba and will edit articles when necessary and will make aditions if information is missing.
