Shijian Kenpo Karate" Shijian Kenpo is the mixture of American Kenpo Karate and Gracie Jujitsu. Shijian is a chinese word that loosely translated means "The practical application of..." in this case Kenpo karate and Gracie jujitsu. Shjian kenpo uses American Kenpo karate to protect, defend, and maintain a standing position under violent circumstances. Should the situation progess to fighting on the ground, the defender would then continue to protect him/herself, defend against attacks coming from above, then once again safely get back to their feet using primarily technqiues taught by the Gracie Jujitsu organization.
