In the course Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychology[1], academic year 2018-2019, held by professor Sara Mondini, the students can create or improve Wikipedia articles about specific disciplinary content.
This project is a part of it:Progetto:Coordinamento/Università we are leading in the Wikipedia in Italian, fully supported by the community. The same university has other courses running with Wikipedia.
What we do
[edit]Workshop - 5th of April 2019
[edit]During this workshop, we introduce Wikipedia as a learning tool and its essential guidelines.
- Presentation of the project and of the specific activity;
- How to respect the copyright for all contents (text and images)
- 5 pillars
- How to cite cite sources (Help:Footnotes and Help:Find sources)
- How to edit a Wikipedia page:
- How to use the test page (Sandbox)
- How to structure an article (Help:Section)

Hint: Wikipedia:VisualEditor
To enable Visual Editor:
- login with your username on Wikipedia in English
- go to your preferences Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing
- unckeck the option "Temporarily disable the visual editor while it is in beta"
- in the "editing mode" menu, choose "Show me both editor tabs".
- press "Save" button and the bottom of the page.
- reload page(s).
