Born January 5, 1978, Andrew Clinton Hopkins, the user known as RewsHops, received a B.A. Honors degree, and later, an M.A. degree, in Philosophy from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He currently studies Philosophy of Education as a Ph.D. candidate at OISE, University of Toronto. His original M.A. thesis, entitled Theories on the Existence of Abstract Objects argues for the preference of physicalism over Platonism. His current work follows the genealogical work of Michel Foucault, and interrogates current configurations of the "educated mind".
Andrew Hopkins married Natalie Ann Morse, now a licensed pharmacist, on June 28, [2002]. Andrew's interests, apart from philosophy, include playing basketball and a less rule-laden version of basketball, streetball. Andrew wishes to utilize this user page as a personal sandbox until he gains better post-tutorial insight into using Wikipedia.
