In 2016, Steven Christina Jr created Super Retro Throwback Reviews, it started out as a Youtube Channel, but then evolved into a Audio Podcast a Year Later. In 2017 Steven employed his first cohost Karly, and the dynamic was fantastic, however in December 2017, due to scheduling conflicts and personal reasons Karly decided to leave Super Retro which left Steven to run the show himself. In 2018, Super Retro Throwback Reviews was invited to join Clovercrest Media Group a Connnecticut based Podcast Network, but declined the opportunity because of contract negotiations. In Late 2018 Steven and Super Retro found a home on The Dorkening Podcast Network, another Connecticut Based Podcast Network and have been there ever since. In 2019 Steven brought on his cousin Ron as permanent cohost and the dynamic is so much better than the first.
