Pointe-Claire Volunteer Rescue Unit also known as P.C.V.R.U. is a civil defense organization located at 2A Victoria in Pointe-Claire Quebec. ^[1] PCVRU specializes in civil defense, search and rescue, Red Cross Disaster relief and numerous other community based activities. ^[2]

The unit is currently comprised of a Director, Assistant Director, 2 Captains, 1 First Lieutenant, 2 Second Lieutenants, Medical Officer, Quarter Master, Red Cross Liason, 8 Members, 6 Probationary Members, 4 Reserve Members and 17 Honorary Members. ^[3]
