TrustyLemon.com
TrustyLemon.com is a domestic cleaning and ironing services company which originated in Leeds, UK in 2014. The company was started by it's founder Tony Renshaw, who is an ex West Yorkshire Police Officer[1]. The headquarters remains in Leeds and this is where the majority of their clients are based. Originally the company began cleaning homes with just one cleaner, the founder Tony Renshaw, but as demand grew, so did the business. Due to popular demand the business moved into the ironing services sector in summer 2014.
The name came from concerns the founder had over the trustworthiness of strangers entering into your home after his grandma, Anne Murdoch, was burgled by her cleaner in late 2013. The cleaner entered her home and whilst pretending to clean she stole all of Mrs Murdoch's life earned jewellery[2]. Renshaw also wanted the name to be catchy and have a cleaning theme and this is the reason the theme of "Lemons" was employed. As his was to be an online business it was too much of a stretch to reach "TrustyLemon.com, Cleaning TLC" which is the companies web address and tag line [3].
