User:Red Hat On Head

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi there! :D My name is Red Hat On Head, or Sasha. Call me by either name! I'm 13 years old, and I've been reading Wikipedia since I was six. I really want to give back, and I'm super-excited about it. I love old Hindi films, and I try to edit those kind of articles. Most are stubs, so I want to help expand them, and hopefully turn them into Featured Articles someday. :)

I want to visit the Gateway of India 'cos it was mentioned in Nau Do Gyarah
Well, for favorite actors. I have to admit, I have two crushes. One on Dev Anand (see Kala Pani and you'll know what I mean!), and one on Rajesh Khanna. (First I didn't really like him, then I watched a bunch of his films and then... yeah, I admit it. CRUSH. :D). I also love Shammi Kapoor... he's so gorgeous. I really wanna dance like him. Also love Joy Mukherjee and Rajendra Kumar. (Need to expand on those articles!)
I need to go to the Tokyo tower because they did so in Love In Tokyo

Favorite films. Hm. I'd say Aradhana is one, and Kati Patang. I could watch Nau Do Gyarah for the rest of my life and never get bored, and Teesri Manzil too. Gosh, I love them all! How do I pick?!

Achievements

[edit]

Since I'm still sort of new, I don't have too many achievements, but I do have that awesome barnstar that my friend Ryan Vesey gave me. He's awesome. :D With his help, I created Shammi Kapoor filmography, and I did manage to get some posters up for some film articles. What I hope to do is get some cool old photos up on the articles for the older actors. (Like Rajendra Kumar's!) Copyright is really tough (and admittedly, annoying!), but I'll get the hang of it eventually.

Right now I'm trying to add some posters under the correct non-free licensing for movies, and I like how I get to pick the coolest poster out of the lot for that. :D I mainly edit old Hindi film articles from 1955 to mid-70's, but I do step out of that sometimes. Mostly I edit articles of my favorite actors. :3

The Original Barnstar
For this comment. I don't know if he will agree with you, but being able to discuss an issue with another editor and creating a well-laid-out reasoning for your point is very important.  Ryan Vesey 20:25, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

For displaying the makings of a truly great Wikipedian—the ability to ask great questions!  Ryan Vesey 15:45, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Great to have you on board with Indian cinema. A lot of my stubs from 1930s to 1990s need expansion! I started a drive to cover 40s films but not enough editors to help out! ♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 17:20, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
