I am RedNil. I was born in 1976, am registered as a Wikipedia author since February 2012 (but have contributed a few occasional 'blurps' before that) and live in Switzerland. I have a university diploma in Earth Sciences and speak Swiss German and German, but also French and English. My interests as a Wikipedia author are pretty eclectic and mainly span the following domains:

• Science and technology

• History (including prehistory) and Politics

• Culture (mainly movies and music)

• National, regional and local subjects on Switerland
