Xygen (band)
[edit]Xygen is an Australian heavy metal band formed in 2000 by Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, Karl Thomas (better known as ShockOne), and Jay Burns. The band released only two songs, "Lyceum" and "Survival of the Fakest," before disbanding in 2002. Swire and McGrillen went on to form the drum and bass band Pendulum, and Thomas became known as the DJ ShockOne. Today, little is known about the band, as all of its former members refuse to discuss it.
Facts to include
[edit]The intro vocal sample of Pendulum's song "Hold Your Colour," as well as some of the lyrics, were taken from the original "Lyceum" track.
