History

[edit]

The male beauty pageant was founded in 2006 by Alan Sim, who passed away on October 12, 2022. After his death, two organizations split and began using the same title. One organization is based in Thailand, led by Pradit Pradinunt, and the other is based in the Philippines,[1] led by Manuel Deldio.[2][3] The first runner-up of Mister International 2022, Lukanand Kshetrimayum from India, has been appointed as the new managing director of the Philippines-based Mister International Organization.[4][5]

On September 17, 2023, Kim Goodburn claimed victory in the 15th Mister International competition held at the Crystal Design Center Ballroom in Khwaeng Khlong Chan, Bangkok, Thailand.[6][7] Just a month later, on October 20, 2023, Spain's Jose Calle won the same title at the Cordillera Convention Center in Baguio Country Club, Baguio City, Philippines.[8][9][10]
