Antidesma pleuricum is one of the 24 species of fruit trees endemic to the Philippines and locally known as Bignay Kalabaw. An evergreen that grows up to 5 meters tall with a trunk size of up to 25 centimetre in diameter. Mostly found in primary lowland forests in Luzon, Burias, Samar, Siargao and Mindanao.[1]
