In Arthurian legend, the Kingdom of Britannia it was to have been founded after the Roman Occupation of Britain and may have fallen around 425 (Groans of the Britons). It is believed to have been founded and ruled by the legendary King Arthur.

Name origion

The name came from the game Rome total war for the Romano British Faction, their country was called Kingdom of Brittania, and thir leader was King Arthur. The Kingdom is based on the legendary Kingdom of Camelot.

Territory

The Kingdom may have ruled all of the former Roman lands evidence of post Roman culture all over Britian, from Chester in the West to York in the East, but thanks to roads is what may helped what kept the country together, through trade and put down rebellions also stop invasions.

Culture

Culturally the Kingdom was Roman, due to evidence in York of Pottery which was made after the occupation, despite to common beleif not all Roman were from Rome, many villas were inhabitated by descendents of British Kings, many locals joined the auxeiliaries in the army, and would been given citzerenship and would be considered Romans.

Military

Knights of the round table

The Evidence for the round table is the Amphitheatre in Chester, it was inhabitated and entrances where blocked off after roman rule, this was not uncommon post roman territories. Also for the Sarmation knights, who probally were the basis for the legendary knights of the round table, many of them may have chose to stay, due marriage with a local, or saw Britannia more of a home then the one they harldy knew.

Defence

Hadrians wall continued to be in use, but the far less impentrable then in the Roman era, but the wall had been in decline for some time. Roads were likly to be continued in use which would explain how Arther responed to threats.

Roman Arthur

In writing of the Welsh Monk Gildas, their was a man with a simuler name Arturius Dux Bellorum, Dux actually was a Roman Rank.

Population

In the height of Roman rule, the island was one million, but much of the aristocracy left, and many natives fled too Armorica which latter be called Brittany.
