Early life: Suman is daughter of Ganapat Patil, who was farmer and society worker. She was born 20 July 1959 in the village of Belgundi village of Belgaum Tal. & Dist. In Karnataka She has done NTT and PUC, she known to be first women from the village to go to college and perused PUC and NTT education in those days. She has encouraged many youth about education and NTT course. She got married to Hamanant Nagenhatti in 1981

Social Works

1985 -2007 After marriage she started tailoring work in 1985 for earnings, and realized that like me there are many who are needy , and started the teaching tailoring to needy and interested young girls / women's and made them independent to live.She made and distributed dress to kids from tailoring class which was created under govt. Trysem scheme, also made school uniforms from Education and Development scheme and sent and distributed to schools.

• Under DWCRA scheme, she educated women's making dried chilly powder, Garam Masala, Papad, How to sale, and make a profit out of it. Apart from doing house work, women's started working and earning from this scheme. She made many women's independent. There were women's house was running from this kind of earning including tailoring. This was the small village women business which gave jobs to the needy and could fulfil their daily needs.

Being first women who had good education from this village, she took a ownership of teaching to illiterate. In same year 1990 govt had

2007 onwards : ownership of teaching to illiterate. In same year 1990 govt had started saksharta abhiyan, she became of part of it. This was really challenge as she was having family that is 2 kids and husband. Afternoon taking tailoring class and night teaching to people. She made many of the people to read, understand mathemetics, which helps lot of farmers, workers in those days to calculates their wages, How to do transactions, How to do signature. Banking, their financials calculations, how to get aware of frauds etc. This is classic example where many become literate. This was huge achievement in those days.

She is working as anganwadi teacher, where, she is helping, making kids, and women educated, she has been awarded for Best Anganwadi worker in Tal Belgaum division. She has been helping in many aspect to the kids, pregnant women's, women's. She has been dedicatedly trying to get all the people benefited from govt scheme which are being carried out in Anganwadi.

After seeing many of the villagers not only Belgundi village, but radius of 10 kms, she helped so many people to create their own account in Syndicate Bank. She own travelled to the villages and their homes and encourage people to create the bank account and save their money in bank instead at home. She has been awarded Syndicate Bank creating many accounts.

She has been engaged in many StreeShakti Sangh, now she has been helping 10 to 15 small sangh, where women's come together and weekly save money. This is helping women's to save the many which is indirect profit, and helping to need women's.

Since 5 to 6 years she has been working as BLO, where she is helping new votes, she has being helping to fill the forms, reaching people to filling their forms and submitting the documents to govt. and creating the voters ID, which is helping govt and people to be more information.

Now she has been working with Marathi Sahitya Academy in women's teams, where she is guiding team and she is also a trusty of Book Library. From this academy arranging games, sports, competitions for girls and women's.
