Mahavihar Bavari Nagar Dabhad District Nanded The tallest Ashoka Pillar in India is being erected at Nanded.

Another golden page is being added to the splendor and grandeur of the state of Maharashtra. In Bavri Nagar, Nanded district, the tallest Ashoka Pillar in India has been erected, its work is nearing completion.  The construction of the column at Bavari Nagar Dabhad has been going on since 2012 with the concept of Dr. SP Gaikwad.
The total height of the Ashoka Pillar is 65 feet, with a strong chiseled stone foundation of 19 feet 6 inches for the base.  , Carvings of horses, oxen, lions and 4 Ashoka Chakra sculptures, on which there are four sculptures of a lion, which is 13 feet high, facing in all four directions, showing the architectural pattern of India in four directions.
Sandstone has been brought from Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh for this pillar. Copper and lime, the same metals used in ancient times, have been used for strong joints of the pillars to preserve the architectural heritage for a long time.
In order to pass on the heritage of India's best architecture to the next generation of tourists from home and abroad, Madanant Vastu Consultancy has gone to great lengths to find the best architects in the country.  This architectural sculpture has been erected using leaves.  These sculptors have created inspiring sculptures that will inspire the next generation by preserving the architectural heritage of India.
The Ashoka Pillar is estimated to cost Rs 91 lakh. The stone railing at Sanchi is proposed to be built around the Ashoka Pillar in the near future.
The Ashoka Pillar will be polished with natural mirrors so that it will not be affected by wind, rain and pollution and will last for generations.
Engineer Krishna Kulkarni has used his ingenuity to create a model of Indian architecture that can be seen by tourists from home and abroad.
This Ashoka Pillar will become a major tourist attraction in Maharashtra in the near future.
