Toni L. Stanton Toni L. Stanton (b. Toni Stanton September 22), is an American actress and singer, best known for her performance as the actress "Sarah" and all of Sarah's sketch comedy characters in the off-Broadway production of Another Man's Poison at Playwrights Horizons in 2009. She appeared on Broadway in Angela Lansbury: A Celebration, after the musical director heard Stanton - who was assisting the director - singing as she was helping the performers learn their parts. Stanton was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, and attended North Park College. Prior to beginning her career onstage, she assisted Broadway producers, general managers, agents, and celebrities including Kathleen Turner and Betty Buckley. She was cast in her first professional theater role at her first audition, in 2005. The "L." initial in her name is in tribute to her mentor, Australian television and theater legend Toni Lamond.
