Jamie Reidy (born March 31, 1970) is an author, screenwriter and Huffington Post blogger.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he served with distinction as a U.S. Army officer. He then spent nine years in pharmaceutical sales with Pfizer and Eli Lilly, ranking as the #1 salesman in the nation at both companies.

His first book “HARD SELL: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman” offers a self-deprecating look at the life of a drug rep, climaxing – ahem – in his selling the little blue pill. Fox 2000 produced the film based on the book. [AND OTHER DRUGS] stars [Gyllenhaal] as Jamie; [Hathaway] plays his fictitious girlfriend. The movie premieres on November 24, 2010. There is no truth to the rumor that Jake had to shave his head to play the role – Jamie had hair when he was 27.

Jamie’s second book “BACHELOR 101: Cooking + Cleaning = Closing” is a cookbook/lifestyle guide for idiot single guys like him.

Jamie has appeared live on CNBC’s “Power Lunch,” “Squawk Box” and “Closing Bell,” and on CNN’s “In The Money.” He once invented the word “efficacion” on national television.
