Tuberville is an online and bricks and mortar colaboration of people concerned about hunger in their communities. It is an attempt to study how online communities can work in concert with geographically bound neighborhoods to address issues that surround hunger.
By combining social networking and entertainment values, Tuberville strives to create a place that is grounded in activities such as community gardening and small scale farming that produce foodstuffs for regional food banks and food shelves as well as build a village that extends beyond the factual boundaries of "place" into less tangeable areas of online imagination.
