Islamic Revolution Document Center(also known as "IRDC" or "Markaz-e Asnād-e Enghelābe Eslāmi",Persian: مرکز اسناد انقلاب اسلامی) is a research institute for focusing on the history of Islamic Revolution. This center founded in 1981 by Ayatollah Khomeini's command to Sayyed Hamid Rouhani. Then on 1996 by the election of board of trustees center, Ruhollah Hosseinian was appointed as the president of this center. The main duty of this center is to collect all the documents and evidences of Ayatollah Khomeini's movement and Islamic Revolution. Also this center had a lot of different documents of Pahlavi dynasty of Iran, .

Vice self-sufficiency

The manager of this deputy is Mr. Ali Ramandi.

Administrative and Financial Office

The manager of this deputy is Mr. Ali Arafati.

Information Deputy

Holding and managing of this department is by Doctor Javad Mansouri. Duty of this department is to provide and archive the documents. He has said that the cultural centers has been built to change the culture of Iranian people. He added Siamak Pourzand was a spy for CIA from 1953, and had said: "for thwarting the role of mosques, he had created the cultural centers".

Research Deputy

This deputy is the main part of research in the center. Now it is being managed by Doctor Akbar Ashrafi. Also this deputy is working with experts and important person in the history of Islamic Revolution and is providing 72 subjects for researchers to publish their investigations under guidance of this department every year.

Deputy of Press

Finished researches in research deputy will be published as a book in this deputy. This department is under Mr. Mahdi Ramazani Managing.

Deputy of oral history

This deputy is working under Mr. Morteza Mirdar responsibility. Finding and talk with people whom had different activity in Islamic Revolution progress or the people who have any not registered information of Ayatollah Khomeini's movement, are the important duty of this department.

Events and news

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the previous president of Iran visited and participated in Ramadan breaking fast party in IRDC on 24 July 2014 . It was the second time that he has gone there. Also this history research center has published a book about Ahmadinejad's government. The name of this book is "9th government and The Zionist regime". The head of IRDC and deputies visited Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi in Qom. Ayatollah Makarem by mentioning their activities as an important job said: Clearly your work has a lot of blessing and benefits for future generations, because survival of a nation, depends on the survival of their work.
