I have been dabbling in Wikipedia edits over the past several years that pertain to history about where I live, a consistently misunderstood and misrepresented community in Boston MA called Dorchester. I am on the board of directors of the Dorchester Historical Society, a non-profit organization that began back in the 19th century, and I personally am interested in getting the word out far and wide about the wonderful history in this largest and most historic part of the city of Boston. Recently, basic edits of mine have been reverted, so I am now not sure how to add historical information about the community I have great knowledge about to the wide word.
