The following provides a listing of the individuals who have served in the position of mayor of Barrow, Alaska. Barrow is a first-class city in the North Slope Borough of the state of Alaska in the United States. Barrow was founded in prehistoric times and was incorporated as a city on June 8, 1959[1] As a first-class city, the mayor is popularly elected to a three-year term, though Alaska statutes governing municipalities allow a different term to be established by ordinance. The mayor chairs city council meetings and does not normally vote on council members, but may cast a tie vote or veto council actions.
