RTex has been employed in the energy sector for almost 20 years. He holds a BS from Florida State University, an EMBA from Houston Baptist University, and a JD from South Texas College of Law. He also attended University of Houston's graduate economics program, and the University of Washington's computer science program (his job moves him at inopportune times). After being accepted into the masters program at Chicago's Northwestern University, he was transferred back to Houston (6 months later). Besides school, and teaching school, he enjoys reading, trail bike riding, and running a side business or two.
