From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

RE-volv is a nonprofit that provides solar financing to community-serving nonprofits across the country, allowing nonprofits to access clean, renewable energy and reduce their electricity bills. RE-volv also raises awareness about the benefits of solar and trains the next generation of clean energy leaders through their Solar Ambassador Fellowship Program.

RE-volv has helped nonprofits across the country go solar including nonprofits in South Carolina, Ohio, California, Oregon, Maine, New Mexico, and Colorado. Nonprofits that have gone solar with RE-volv work in many different impact areas, including arts, animals, youth, BIPOC communities, veterans, community development, food, and housing. RE-volv has brought solar to food banks, cultural centers, community gardens, youth after-school programs, houses of worship, low-income housing nonprofits, VFW's, and animals shelters throughout the country. By going solar with RE-volv, nonprofits save on average 15% or more on their electricity bill each month. RE-volv was founded in 2011 and is based in San Francisco, California.
