About me
[edit]I'm a retired engineer (Electronics) inheriting this profession from my father (Electronics), grandfather (Automotive Engineering) and gt1 grandfather (Civil Engineer). My gt2 grandfather was a CofE Curate and miser. My gt3 and gt4 were shipmasters. Gt5 and 6 were farmers/landowners. My gt7 was a tanner. Would you like me to go on? Oh, I see.
Well, Most of this lot were from East Anglia, the area bounded by Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft in particular. However, after we slid down the social scale, Norfolk didn't want us, and I was born in Sarf London. Check out Ancestry.
Achievements on Wikipedia
[edit]Addiction to genealogy leaves me no other free time but, since I began editing about ten years ago, I have discovered and corrected at least three typos. Don't be surprised at that. Wikipedia really is that full of errors.
