My username is a playful reference to the Quantified Self (or lifelogging), a popular movement in technology and lifestyle that involves capturing data from soooo many aspects of one's life and then analyzing, visualizing, and eventually discovering correlations between data and behavior! I'm no expert in the field, but I'll likely put some time into improving Wikipedia's content in this area.
I like to evaluate random selections from AfC. 9 out of 10 get declined, but the other 10% are always interesting, and I'm always open to working with an editor on improving an article to see if it's worthy of creation. Just talk to me!
I created the Privateer Holdings article after reading about the organization in Forbes Magazine. One of my long-term goals is to develop a DYK for the article. But now that the article is more than 5 days old, it won't be eligible for a DYK until it's been expanded fivefold! I guess DYK is better as a short-term goal...
I significantly improved and expanded the Leafly marijuana strain base article. Much of the research was overlap from Privateer Holdings.
In the future, I may be working with a new editor on improving his AfC submission for Badlands Unlimited. I've proposed that he start over in a new sandbox, which you can follow and contribute to here: User:Matthewyso/sandbox2.
Need help? I'd appreciate the experience and I'm a decent writer. Get me involved.
