<<History>> Education. Born 7th November 1978, grew up in the village of Kippax. attended Kippax north infant school, then went to Gibson lane primary school in Kippax. Later school years went to Brigshaw High. Moved to Edinburgh in the year 1998 to study Joinery at Telford College.
Rugby. Played rugby at brigshaw high aged 14-15. having left school started playing for kippax U16's & U18's Upon returning to Kippax, Leeds from edinburgh in 2002, signed up to Kippax Welfare open are level. 2003 to 2006 spent 3 years playing for Allerton Bywater Bulldogs. Kippax Welfare was to be the return in 2007 where kippax were now playing in the pennine leagues becoming division 1 & 6 Champions in 2009 as well as Cas Cup Champions in the same year. Then signed for Kippax's new summer league team Kippax Knights becoming League & Grand Final Winners (double).
