Shakir Subhan, a 30-year-old Malayali better known as ‘Mallu Traveler’ through his YouTube channel of the same name, is a vlogger and adventure traveller primarily known for his budget travel videos. He started his YouTube channel in 2018 focusing mainly on hitchhiking and budget travelling. Shakir started off with his first trip on foot with just ₹750 in his pocket and managed to hitchhike to Nepal from Kerala. His fame skyrocketed along with the concept of budget travel that he introduced.
