About Me
[edit]No, I'm not a marshwiggle, nor am I actually named Puddleglum. However, my dad always jokes that he wanted to name me Puddleglum Marshwiggle, so I figured I'll give him a small victory at least by making it my username. I am actually a fan of The Chronicles of Narnia, and of the work of C.S. Lewis in general. I'm a college student in Kentucky majoring in mathematics with a minor in computer science, and I'm planning to be a high school teacher.
My intellectual interests include mathematics (obviously), science, theology (Christianity in particular), politics, and technology. I'm also a fan of baseball, football, alternative and punk music , and good movies. I enjoy playing video games when I have free time, such as the Myst franchise and classic series such as Mario, Zelda, and Metroid Prime. As for reading, I love anything by C.S. Lewis or J.R.R. Tolkien. Some other favorites of mine include Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, East of Eden by John Steinbeck, and The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene (though it's probably terribly out of date by now). I am also of the opinion that Calvin and Hobbes was one of the greatest comic strips ever, and that Pinky and the Brain is funny for people of all ages.
I've been a frequent reader of Wikipedia but have never done much editing; I decided it was time for me to be bold and create an account. At the moment, I don't know where I'll end up working on the site, hopefully I'll update this page as I get involved. I guess that does it for now.
