History
The inception of this organization can be traced back to 1987, in which several young men, bound by their school, their neighborhood and friendship held true to the beliefs of being there for each other any time, any situation. Their paths, diverged after graduation, taking them into the military, colleges, and family life, becoming positive influences in their communities, mentoring the youth, and still strong in fellowship and brotherhood.
The formation of the organization occurred years later in January of 2010, born of negativity in the community and seeing that men did not communicate and take the lead in their homes, in their education, in their purpose of life. Our predeccesor organization "Man Up Org" or "MU" worked with the youth in various sporting activities, held fundraisers for organizations, and focused on mentoring to young in the positive aspects of life, and showing them "a path less travelled."
The group then saw that the need and desire by others outgrew that which they first envisioned. After many discussions, meetings and prayer, the decision to go from a local group to a national entity was born, and here we now stand. Not an organization trying to compete, but one that is destined to help.
Fraternal Mission: To develop leaders on college campuses, in professional areas and in our communities. Our Fraternity will encourage, develop, and support its members to become productive citizens and emphasize a positive change in our society.
