FGH Security is a security services provider contracted to work across the Northwest of the United Kingdom. The company provides a range of manned and electronic security services to a broad range of public sector and private clients. Established in 2003 by the current Managing Director Peter Harrison (see http://www.fghsecurity.com/). At the Security Excellence Awards in 2009 the company was nominated in 5 categories (see http://www.securityexcellenceawards.co.uk/finalists.php). The company holds SIA Approved Contractor Status (see http://sia.homeoffice.gov.uk/home/acs/roac.htm) in the categories of door supervison and security guarding. FGH Security also owns a subsidurary car park management company (see http://www.nps-uk.com/) who hold accreditation with the British Parking Association as Approved Operators (see http://www.britishparking.co.uk/files/aos/aos%20members%20january%2010.pdf) allowing them to immobilise vehicles and place parking charge notices on illegially parked vcehicles on private land. The company's head office is in the historic city of Lancaster.
