First contributions

Before making this account, I made one edit without an account on Poland-UK relations on relations between Kings Mieszko I and Cnut. Those contributions, and several others, aren't actually listed, for the sole reasons I put below.

Misuse of Wiki/User page deletion

[edit]

I quickly started a wiki page for a self-made YouTube-related project in the first 24 hours after account creation. This, quite obviously, breached speedy deletion criteria A7 and G11. I was still new to Wikipedia (not even a day since I registered), and already I wanted to create an article about something that I wanted to spread around, called YouTube SCSA (YouTube Small Channel Subscribing Association). I wanted to find YouTubers around the globe which have made great videos that need at least some attention, but, as a consequence of low viewership or engagement, those channels do not have many subs. And, I, having only 33 subs, wanted to contribute an idea about that.

What I then did not know was that, creating such article that had no importance and was self-promotive, I was breaching Wiki rules, and received a deletion tag for the page, cited with deletion criteria A7 and G11. I received those from Gilo1969 - which I thank for helping me understand Wikipedia's rules and criteria for different things - however, not knowing any better, I deleted the tag. I deleted tags an additional two times before another user (Ulteraexactzz)went into the conversation and deleted the page, saying why on my talk page.

As per the obvious observation, this page was created on the 10th of June, with the edit summary;

Recreated the Wikipedia user page to match (or try to match) the Wikipedia rules, and not conflict with the speedy deletion condition U5; Blatant misuse of Wikipedia as a web host, as it says in the article; "pages in userspace consisting of writings,..."

This is because, as seen on a section on my talk page, I breached deletion criterion U5 for "blatantly misusing Wikipedia as a web host". I can't even remember what I put there and I'm not sure I'll be able to find out, but I digress. I changed the user page mostly to what it is today, with some minor changes here and there.[a]

A small history on my YouTube channel; I made it when I was 12 (somehow with my normal age), and uploaded right away. Much of what I uploaded until September 2015 is lost media but I remember one about dominoes. All of my early videos since then have been made private but they include a shitty song and playthroughs of games like Minecraft or an online version of 1986 game Alter Ego. Throughout 2018, many videos were made on games such as 2016 platformer Spectrum[2], Asphalt 8, or Mario Kart Wii.

I made barely any attempt on videos in 2019 - I was "focused" on my GCSE's and didn't think of making any until August the next year when I made a lot of Hypixel parkour speedruns, most of which are outdated, and the ones that aren't are viewable there. I uploaded a university essay in June 2022, and uploaded a compilation of the aforementioned speedruns in December.

I uploaded yet another video in early 2024, this one my favourite, about a protest happening in "central" Brighton in regards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the ongoing Gaza genocide. To please my uni lecturers, I spoke to both a man from Sussex Friends of Israel and a woman representing Artist Action Brighton, the latter of whom would later become an independent Parliamentary candidate for Hove & Portslade in 2024, finishing 5th/6 with a 5.9% vote share.

A little section about what I consider to be the best opportunity I ever received, and one I am still trying to capitalise on. This journalism adventure not only put me in one of the happiest places ever, but also completely shifted my university focus (and course). DIVEBOMB is a volunteer-led motorsport journalism group that has been growing in the journalistic space very quickly. Joining in 2022, I have written several articles about Formula 1, Formula E, as well as conducting my first ever DIVEBOMB interview in July 2024 with 2023 and 2024 Indian Racing League driver Laura Camps.
