This infobox should be used in the article for any book in the original Baby-Sitters Club series. (Whether other series should also use this infobox has not yet been decided.)

Usage

To use this infobox, copy and paste the template below into the top of the article, and fill in the parameters as appropriate. More detailed information about how to fill in each of the parameters is included below.

It's fine to leave parameters blank, but please don't delete blank parameters from the article unless you're sure they don't apply.

Parameters

Parameter	Explanation
image	Insert image name. The image should be of the book's American cover; if images of both the old and new covers are available, this image should be the old cover and the new cover should be image2 below. Use only the file name such as abc.jpg, xyz.png, 123.gif, etc. Do not use syntax such as [[Image:abc.jpg]] or [[Image:abc.jpg|200px]]
image2	If images of both the old and new covers are available, insert the image name for the new cover here.
imagesize	Leave this blank in most cases.
tagline	Insert the tagline (the phrase on the book's front cover that hints at the plot).
series	Insert the name of the series ("Original") here.
date	Insert the month and year this book was published.
writer	Insert Ann M. Martin's name if the book was not ghostwritten, or the name of the ghostwriter.
