Daz the Hedgehog (Series)

Is a fan series starring a failed clone of Super Sonic who seeks revenge on Dr. Eggman.

Daz the Hedgehog

A failed clone of Super Sonic who was thrown out on the streets by Dr. Eggman. Daz was very confused where he was until a green female fox named Morgan found him. Daz got his name because Morgan thought he was weird looking.

Morgan the Fox

A green fox who found Daz wondering around the streets. She took him into her home until he got better and they both went off to fight Dr. Eggman. Morgan can be quite naive sometimes or even quite selfish but that never stops her from helping Daz save the world.

Detroit the Echidna

An Echidna who always tries to act like a gangstah he lives on the Bale Fire Island where he met Daz and his partner Meshif (who he thought was the enemy at the time) until Eggman took the Master Emerald Detroit was keeping safe for Knuckles (who also was there too thinking Daz was a threat (and still does)) so he teamed up with Daz & Meshif save the world. Detroit has only made 2 other appearance since then in "Daz Adventure & Daz Heroes" but after that nothing.

Debut (PC) Daz the Hedgehog 3 (2006-2008)

Meshif the Wolf

He teamed up with Daz to take down the Final Egg (that Robotnik built twice) and to stop Detroit & Knuckles but since then he hasn't appeared in anymore games for some reason or another. Most likely because Daz lost contact with 'em... huh.

Linda the Fox

Daz and Linda meet at Christmas Island where they found Robotnik was making a Doomsday machine (not the one in Sonic SatAM) The 2 became FAST friends and stopped Robotnik together. This was the only game Linda appeared in.

Trivia:

Linda was originally going to be a Hedgehog but due to Sonik Sprite problems she stayed a Fox.

In the Wii port the name of the game has been changed to Daz & Chad. A brown-ish Fox.

Spartan the Fox

A grey Fox who needed Daz help to take down Robotnik from stopping all time. This was the only game he appeared in.

Trivia:

Spartan was supposed to be a Hedgehog but there were problems with Sonik Sprite.

Frost the Hedgehog

Frost was another expiriment from Dr. Eggman to help him conquer the world. He is Daz arch-rival and brother.

Frost MIGHT return as a mini-boss in Splice the Hedgehog RPG (2009)

Mike the Fox

A mysterious Fox who appeared from planet Maltus who called for help. Daz answered that call and the two teamed up to take down Dr. Eggman's new "MECHA EARTH". Mike can be very childish but he can get tough in order to save his planet from Robotnik's wrath!

Trivia:

There might be an SRB2 MOD of Daz Unleashed.

Mike was originally going to be a raccoon.

Daz Unleashed was the 2nd Daz game to work on Wii.

Sonic Unleashed on Wii...Daz Unleashed on Wii... RIP OFF!!!

Silvic Dude

Silvic Dude is an odd Hedgehog who thought he could take on Robotnik by himself... Guess he was right. Silvic Dude is Daz' friend who placed a bet saying that he could take down Eggman w/o Daz' help. Silvic Dude can be foolish at times but smart enough to take down chumps like Robuttnik.

Seb the Hedgehog

Is a black Hedgehog who wanted to be as famous and heroic as Sonic so he set out to stop Robotnik... and won! Seb can be quite childish which usually gets on peoples nerves but he is a very good friend indeed and everyone is happy to have him around!

Debut: (GENESIS) Seb the Hedgehog and the Heart of Flames (2007-2009)

Trivia:

Seb is the only character from the comics so far to return in a game.

In the comics Seb was blue and had black cloths and a sword but this was changed due to Sonik Sprite issues.

Despite the date the game was made in 2009. Seb appeared in the Daz comic in 2007.

A sequel is planed where Seb gets to use his sword. Or at least it appears he has one.

Sith the Echidna

The sun of Poseidon also Daz' long lost brother. Came to the future to keep his universe from collapsing because of the loss of the havoc diamonds. His universe is form of the Chaos Emeralds.

Smash the Echidna

Not a Daz character but he had a crossover with Daz in 2008 and 2 more along with him appearing in Daz 3 and then a remake of it in 2009.

Splice the Hedgehog

Not a Daz character but Daz is confirmed to appear in his RPG. Splice is an orphan Hedgehog who seeks to find his parents.

Trivia:

Splice has elemental powers just like Daz. But Splice has Ice powers, rather than Lightning. He also has fire powers.

Daz is a 3rd Party Character, who starts out as Splice's enemy, thinking that Splice was mad with power and was wrecking havoc everywhere. Apparently, Dr. Eggman told him this to get both of them out of his way so he could achieve his long sought goal of world domination.

History

1999 - Streak the Armadillo: A good hack this was it was quite popular with my friends even though it was a blue garbled Image of Mighty sprites from Chaotix. Even though I didn't exactly make it. My Dad made it I only gave him the idea. That was our first mascot that well honestly... only lasted a year LOL! The Streak hack was Re-Mastered by me this time in 2008 thus bringing him back to life!

2000 - Mc. T & Big Bill: A hack I made staring a purple Hedgehog and a white Fox! It was originally going to be a Sonic 1 hack but I had too add Bill the Fox in so I made it a Sonic 2 Hack. This was the FIRST hack I ever made! And to think I was only 9! However this hack popularity lasted 2 years with me and my friends after that things got stale for T & Bill. Bill returned as Spartain the Fox in Daz Blur while Mc. T was transformed into an Echidna for Daz & Sith.

2002 - JJ & Ian: Once again a Sonic 2 Hack but this time EVEN LARGER! I managed to restore the scraped levels except Genocide City. But it was quite large! I just wished I was able too keep it... JJ was a green Hedgehog while Ian was a red fox. This hack popularity lasted for 3 years but unfortunately everything dies out so BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD! These characters never returned.

2005 - Soknux the Hedgehog: Pretty much a red Sonic but popular non the less! This hack never lasted a year being a rip off of a "Soknux" whom BTW was already created by another Sonic & Knuckles fan so my friends didn't like this hack this much. They much rather prefer the other "Soknux" things fans were making. I happened to LOVE my hack (most likely because I made it XD) But I still managed to NOT loose this one!

2005 - Soknux the Hedgehog 2: Another attempt to make MY Soknux as popular as possible but sadly I didn't have much interest in Soknux myself anymore so instead of being as epic as JJ & Ian was it was just an ordinary Sonic 2 hack but unlike the original this hack pulled through for the rest the year for my friends so SUCCESS! Too bad I have no more interest In him XD. I still have the hack though!

2006 - Well well well. Who knew this hack would be the one I'd make my fan character series out of. You guessed it DAZ THE HEDGEHOG! Yup many many games made out of this little sucker right here and still VERY popular he is to me and my friends. I made a whole crap load of hacks for 'em!

(WARNING SPLOILERS)

Q. What made you come up with Daz?

A. Well I saw this old Chao Picture with the name "dD_Daz" on it. I liked the Daz part but "dD_" seemed kind of. Gay. So I kept Daz!

Q. I see. And the character design/colour pallete?

A. Well when I first started making hacks like Mc. T, Ian and all that jazz. I threw in alot of colors. Since Daz seemed to be the most popular hack. I kept his layouts.

Q. Interesting. What was your long term plans or aims and goals of the Daz "Hack" series?

A. Well my idea was to make an interesting plot for the WHOLE series since there were just hacks of old Sonic Games. Yet I do attempt to make a BRAND NEW game called Daz PaRaDoX which is going to be an SRB2 MOD. So expect a new plot for that game.

Q. I see. What will be the major plot for Daz in "PaRaDoX"

A. An evil being called XUR came from Dark Earth and took control of Tres but Daz went back in time to tell Tres to team up stop it but they fail to do so. Daz and Tres fighting not only for their lives, but for the planet. Xur gets two emeralds from Daz and Tres, and then takes control of Tres. Daz narrowly escapes death as he gets an emerald and teleports back in time. Bloody and beaten, Daz realizes he needs more help. Daz manages to contact Tres and LD, and warn them of the impending attack. As Daz recooperates, he also calls on Azoth the Hedgehog, a rouge that works for hire to help too explaining the situation and he joins. Sith also helps out LD and Tres already start preparing for the attack. Xur has no intention of letting Daz escape. And sends (possesed) Tres to attack Daz and anyone else who opposes him. Realizing all else has failed, future Xur goes back in time and attacks Daz Tres and LD. Xur fails and is defeated. Our heroes are tired and bloody. No Emeralds:Our heroes forgot and cannot handle present Xur and are killed 1-6 Emeralds:Close to death, our heroes must go back in time and try again 7 Emeralds:Our heroes use the emeralds power to defeat Xur for good. Although no one is sure, there is a rumor an 8th emerald exists. Our heroes believe if it exists it will help them in their struggle against Xur. Meshif is hinted to be in it as well...

Q. OK. Well do you plan on original levels it this mod?

A. Yes I do.

Q. Great! Now, final question... What are your thoughts about Daz reappering in another Azoth the Hedgehog title?

A. Well there was a game called "Azoth & Daz" Where Eggman shrunk Daz and needed help from Azoth. It was canceled due to spriting issues but now that I got some of it resolved I might go ahead and finish it!

The possible Future?

It's STILL a mystery...lol!
