Programming gecko About Talk Contributions

Hi! I am programming gecko. As you might have guessed, I am a programmer (well, a programming student, actually), although I am not actually a gecko. In case you didn't notice the userbox, I am a girl, although out of long habit of obsessive anonymity, I may from time to time absent-mindedly refer to myself with the generic he.

I'm the kind of person who's not likely to start a conversation unless absolutely necessary, but if someone wants to talk to me for some reason, I'll respond as soon as I can—most likely between 1:00 and 3:00 UTC.

I have been editing Wikipedia anonymously and sporadically for a rather long time; I finally signed up for an account on November 28, 2008. I've been busy and haven't done much yet, but hopefully that will change soon.

Work on Wikipedia

[edit]

My main interests are computer programming and software engineering, and I will probably be editing pages about those subjects frequently, especially pages about Java, the programming language that I know best, and about generic programming topics. Other major interests include web design, Catholicism, the Latin language, the politics of the United States, the War on Terrorism, Andorra, and Vatican City. When bored, I may also work on more mundane cleanup tasks, like removing links to disambiguation pages.

I have a global account and have edited under the name "programming gecko" on the Wikimedia Commons and the French Wikipedia.

Current

[edit]

Working on bringing the lists of Secretaries of State, Attorneys General, State Treasurers and Superintendents of Public Instruction of Wisconsin up to featured list status; Salmar has already done the Governor and Lieutenant Governor lists, so together we'll be able to make a featured topic.

Commitment

This is a SHA-512 commitment to my real-life identity:
