Online Graphing Calculators are Graphing Calculators that are usually free to use online. Most of them are only capable of graphing one-variable mathematical functions, eg, y = f(x), using the Cartesian coordinate system. Some are able to graph functions, r = f(θ), using the polar coordinate systems. They are often called (2D) function graphers or (2D) polar function graphers.
More powerful graphing calculators can graph more types of mathematical expressions such as equations of the form g(x,y) = f(x,y), parametric equations p(t) = (x(t), y(t)) or points (x,y) using either Cartesian or polar coordinate systems.
