Pro Source, Inc. is a privately owned company with corporate offices based in Atlanta, GA. Pro Source is a 3PL company that provides logistics personnel and consulting services to both public and private companies in the contiguous United States.

History
Walter Mills introduced driver leasing in 1959 when he founded Driver Service, Inc., the first company of its kind at the time. A graduate of Case Western University with degrees in both engineering and law, Walt began his career in transportation in the early 1950’s. By the late 1950’s he was a regional VP for Ryder Truck Lines, opening up the West Coast for Jim Ryder’s fledgling company. Still later, he founded such companies as Pacific Intermountain Express (P.I.E. Leasing) and National Truck Leasing.
By 1983, the need for and success of long-term contract leasing of drivers and other logistics personnel encouraged a more aggressive business plan that became known as Pro Source, Inc. Today, the company is nationwide, providing not only drivers, but also logistics professionals and logistics consulting services. Walt is nationally recognized for his innovative contributions toward the development of transportation services in the United States.

Driver Classifications Pro Source provides both Class A, and B CDL drivers for over-the-road, team, and local delivery positions for a wide variety of carriage operations.

Other Personnel Pro Source provides clerks, computer operations, dispatchers, mechanics, transportation managers, safety managers and trainers, loaders, forklift operators, and other logistics staff members.

Safety Programs Pro Source offers customized safety and training programs to match specific needs, including safety training for hazardous materials, specialized reefer transport, garbage hauling, and over-sized or time-sensitive shipping. Original safety incentive programs are also offered, as well as DOT certified alcohol and drug testing plans, a variety of compliance audits, and risk management services.
