Career
[edit]The moment of debut In fact, there was nothing I wanted to do until I was in high school. Then, she first encountered acting through a theater club activity, and it was so much fun practicing and performing on stage with the same script as her friends. She received a lot of stimulation from seeing her passionate friends, and because she liked those moments, she felt like she should act naturally. After graduating, she went on her own to audition for small roles by circulating her profile. She failed the audition she applied for at the time, but someone she met at the time recommended another audition, and she ended up filming director Jin-ho Heo's short film <Two Lights: Relumino>.
How did you get into your current agency, Ghost Studio? it’s actually Santa Claus.
She transferred to Ghost Studio after Studio Santa Claus reorganization.[1]

[edit]
Song Jae-jung (Korean: 송재정; born on November 28, 1973) is a South Korean film television writer.[14] Miyagi trio.[15] Other trio.[16]
In 1992 she enrolled in Department of Journalism and Broadcasting at Ewha Womans University and graduate with bachelor degree in 1996.
In the broadcasting industry, the two individuals are referred to as sitcom geniuses. Starting from "Soonpoong Clinic"
(1998-2000) to "Nonstop" (2001-2002) and "Sharp" (2002-2003), every sitcom they touch becomes a hit because of their talent.
In the MBC daily sitcom "High Kick Without Hesitation" that started on the 6th of last month (Monday to Friday at 8:20 PM), Kim Byung-wook (45) PD and Song Jae-jeong (33) writer, who boast a perfect match. The two of the same age are once again gaining popularity with a sitcom based on a family theme.
"There are so many stories to tell in family relationships. We can show the power dynamics between people in a condensed way." (Kim PD)
"The relationship that can be divided into strong and weak is a power relationship. Money and affection define the relationship. The one with money is strong, and the one who gives affection is weak." (Song writer)
The power dynamics between roles have changed as much as the time difference between "Soonpoong Clinic" and "High Kick Without Hesitation." The central figure in "Soonpoong Clinic" was the head of Soonpoong Clinic, Oh Ji-myung. In "High Kick Without Hesitation," the money-making daughter-in-law Park Hae-mi holds the real power. Although she is a doctor at "Lee Soon-jae Oriental Medicine Clinic" run by her father-in-law, patients only seek the young and capable Park Hae-mi.
In "Soonpoong Clinic," the most sympathetic character was the son-in-law Park Young-kyu, who lost his job and lived with his in-laws. In the power hierarchy of "High Kick Without Hesitation," the character at the very bottom is the mother-in-law Na Moon-hee, who suffers from a chronic illness and is a smart daughter-in-law. She takes care of the household chores, including taking care of her husband and daughter-in-law's work, but she can't even retort once in front of her daughter-in-law who nitpicks about whether fabric softener was added to the laundry.
Park Hae-mi's husband Lee Jun-ha (Jung Joon-ha), who became a full-time stock investor after retiring, also has thin ears for his capable and lovely wife's words, saying, "Don't interfere. I'll handle it myself."
"A sitcom also follows the trend. Isn't it common for the real power in any household to be on the daughter-in-law's side?" (Song writer)
Kim PD has been working with Song writer for more than 1,200 episodes of sitcoms. Kim PD said, "Because we have the same sense of comedy," and Song writer said, "Because we have a similar perspective on human relationships."
The comedy that came out of the two people's senses and perspectives is as follows, aired on the 5th:
When Lee Soon-jae meets his former classmate Dae-geun, who used to bully him with his big build in school, he decides to restore his pride before he dies. He secretly practices fighting skills from his second son, who is a physical education teacher, and goes to the alumni meeting. However, despite his efforts, Dae-geun's charisma still makes him feel small, and Lee Soon-jae ends up dancing the crab dance without being able to swing the nunchaku he secretly brought. The message that once a relationship starts to deteriorate, it is difficult to recover is both funny and poignant.

2016 MBC W.[19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26]
2018. MoA.[27][28][29][30][31]
In 2007, 'Unstoppable High Kick' attempted a new method of mixing sitcom, drama, and mystery formats, and received attention due to favorable reviews from viewers for its refreshing feel.
In 'The Secret of Kukseom', sitcom and thriller are mixed in the same format. I enjoy trying out various new experiments by constantly changing genres, characters, and plots.

Career
[edit]In the early 2000s, the film industry saw the entry of major corporations like CJ, Showbox, and Lotte, which fostered an environment conducive to the production of blockbuster movies. During this period, a box office hit emerged that could rival the success of Hollywood films.[38] From 2000 to 2004, she worked at Cinema Service and was part of the Distribution Team/Marketing Team. She was involved in theatrical releases, follow-up window distribution, and overseas sales. She also oversaw the import and distribution of over 80 films, including The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), My Sassy Girl, Kick the Moon (2001), Public Enemy (2002), Silmido (2003).[45][41]
A representative example is 'My Sassy Girl' (directed by Kwak Jae-yong), which was released on July 27, 2001 and was aimed at the peak summer market. she, who still can't forget the day 'My Sassy Girl' was released, explained, "This work is a hit that competed against Hollywood blockbusters and won," and "It is a work that showed the potential of Korean movies by attracting 5 million viewers." He continued, “The 5 million viewers before the integrated computer network for movie theater tickets was created in 2004 is equivalent to the 10 million audiences today,” and “Hollywood was like a guarantee of box office success during the summer vacation season, when the biggest sales of the year are expected.” He remembered that time, saying, “Submitting our film instead of his own film would not have been possible without the decision of the distributor’s representative.”[38]
Later on, she initiated the film investment and distribution business at KD Media, a KOSDAQ-listed corporation. Under her leadership, as Team leader, the company distributed the 2009 Oscar Best Foreign Language Film winner, Departures (2008).[45] Lee Hwa-bae, stated that their aim was to introduce medium-sized movies to the foreign film distribution industry, which was predominantly dominated by blockbusters and small-budget films priced between $10,000 and $20,000. Ultimately, their goal was to distribute Korean movies.[46]
Between 2008 and 2011, she served as the Head of the Distribution Team at Sidus FNH Co., Ltd. During this period, she oversaw the distribution of films such as The Housemaid (2010), The Villain on the Second Floor (2010), and A Long Visit (2010).[45]
2012 to 2015, She worked on KT IPTV's first window strategy and N Screen service copyright supply and demand. She was responsible for online platform distribution, as well as content investment and distribution.[45]
In her role as the Head of the Film Business Division at Sidus Pictures Co., Ltd., she supervised movie theater distribution, follow-up window distribution, overseas distribution, foreign currency imports, and marketing, including Another Promise (2013), Tazza: The Hidden Card (2014), A Man Called Ove (2015), Land of Mine (2015), and A Touch of Sin (2013).[45][41]
After a hiatus (2015 to 2017). In 2017, she recognized the significance of distribution in the film industry's growth and dedicated herself to training experts in the field. She began lecturing at the Department of Visual Business at Chugye University of Arts, which established the first film distribution-related department in Korea. Additionally, she delivered lectures on film investment and distribution in the domestic film industry, including at the Korean Film Council.[38] Her teaching engagements also extended to Hankyoreh Education, Academy Roca, and MBC Academy.[45]
In 2020, she authored "Film is Distribution - The essence of distribution," a book penned by Lee Hwa-bae.[47][48][49] The book explores the intricacies of film distribution and was well-received, garnering positive reviews.[50][51]
In 2023, Lee Hwa-bae's distribution company (이화배컴퍼니(주)) distributed Shunji Iwai's film Kyrie in South Korea.[52][53] Two version, regular and director's cut.[54]

[edit]Discussion on ways to overcome the crisis in the Korean film industry.[55][56][57]
Crisis in film industry.[58]
Lee Hwa-bae, director of Studio DHL, said, “There must be an audience for there to be movies, and there must be movies for workers and the industry to be maintained. The departure of audiences leads to the departure of human resources from the film industry,” adding, “Even if theaters do not 100% recover the same status as in the past, they will recover.” "If the speed cannot be adjusted to a certain level, it will be difficult for total movie sales to recover. The recovery of sales in the theater industry is ultimately an important key to the overall recovery of the movie industry," he emphasized.[40]
